A History of HIV and AIDS: Don Francis and the Door Knobs
A short film discussing the bureaucratic barriers that Don Francis, an HIV researcher, had to face in order to propel HIV research forward during the AIDS crisis. This film is a part of a university-level course on queer history in North America that is currently being developed for the Institute of Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice at the University of British Columbia. For this project, I was in charge of storyboarding the script and taking the animation to completion.
